CONSULTING
Start looking forward to Monday
Are you dreading going to work? Do you wish the weekend never ended?
It's no surprise if you are as we'll spend over 90,000 hours working in our lifetime. We get jaded, and many of us settle for a job that leaves us feeling stuck, frustrated, bored, and unfulfilled.
It doesn’t have to be this hard.
Your work or life does not have to be endlessly stressful. Right now, almost everyone’s feeling challenged. But you know what? Even now, you can change your mindset, think clearly, and grow your ability to face what the day throws at you.
It’s all about changing your mindset, taking control, building your mental fitness, feeling lighter and being more in control. The good news is that it's never too late to change this. If you are brave, you can leap into the unknown, or take a safer route step-by-step. A coach is there to help you navigate your way and guide you as you begin to kindle that spark and bring joy and fulfilment into your work and life.
Finding your true passion can seem daunting, but it doesn't have to be. Let me help you discover what you love doing and explore the possibilities. Alexander den Heijer says in his book, Nothing you don't already know, "You often feel tired, not because you've done too much, but because you've done too little of what sparks a light in you."
So, start looking forward to Monday mornings. Your dreams are real and you can achieve them. Its all waiting for you!

In today’s fiercely competitive job market, your success hinges on making a memorable impression—and it happens fast. Decisions about suitability are often made within the first 15 minutes of an interview.

What do you want to be when you grow up? It’s the most common career issue that I help clients address.
Coaching can fast-track you towards understanding what you want, what steps you need to take, and how to better resolve your goals. It focuses you on building your strategic plan. Then you can make it happen.View more details...Start the conversationLife Coaching

It's not your fault, you deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. If you have been bullied you can take control and move on.
Toxic, toxic, toxic.
Workplace bullying isn’t just a bad habit; it’s a toxic force that destroys morale and productivity.
It's a personal passion and mission to work with individuals who have or are being bullied right now. In fact, around 95% of my clients have experienced bullying.
Imagine a once-enthusiastic employee now dreading work, their ideas ignored, and their passion replaced by anxiety.
When bullying goes unchecked, it harms individuals and damages entire organisations. Tackling this issue head-on is hard, and many organisations turn a blind eye to what is happening.
I’ve seen how bullying can tear down an individual or a team and distort an organisation's purpose and outcome. But when leaders commit to change, there can be a powerful transformation, because everyone feels safe, valued, and heard.
Coaching isn't therapy. It's product development, with you as a product." Judy Hehr
I have worked with people to help them understand what they want to do, how to make powerful changes in their lives and careers and find the direction they want to head. Here are a few who have shared their views:
Stephanie B – interview coaching
Lisé coached me on interview preparation and technique. I desperately needed help as I wasn't getting the jobs I was qualified for. She was encouraging and supportive, building my confidence while putting me through hoops and gently pressuring me to think differently about my approach.
Lisé created specific model interview questions for the role and helped me develop solid answers. The role-playing the night before my interview helped a lot. I highly recommend Lisé if you want to improve your interview success rate and want good career advice and mentoring.
Jo C – career coaching and job transition
I enjoyed my sessions with Lisé. Much of the 'aha' moments came after reflection on our sessions. Lisé is excellent at asking the right questions and is comfortable challenging rather than paying lip service, which is essential when working with a career coach.
To get the most out of sessions, you need to allow yourself to confront your fears and insecurities, as this will allow Lisé to work with you to overcome these. It is also important to note that what you put in is what you get out, and you will need to invest plenty of time outside of your sessions in your personal growth and development.
I would highly recommend Lisé's services and have done so already.
Kerri DP – job transition
Thanks for all your help... it's been hugely enlightening, and I've made great improvements thanks to you. I'll be sure to keep you posted.
Josiah P – job transition
Lisé helped me position my resume to stand out in the job market. Her advice was spot on, such as showing my career progression or character, changing the colours, making the information higher-level, and explaining how I got to where I am now.
The result: I got an interview for almost any job I applied for, with several businesses offering me contracts. Lisé's advice helped me cut through the noise and get in the door.
Kia ora, hello
I'm Lisé Hutcheon, a Wellington-based coach.
Like most of us, I've been on a change journey my whole life. It led me to recognise my passion for people and become a coach.
It's been challenging. I had to work out what was missing from my life. Then, I had to invest in myself so I could change. In doing this, I've gained insight into the power of coaching and how transformational it can be.
Coaching challenged me to think about the world and my place in it. It's given me the practical tools to make difficult decisions. It's been both scary and fun.
To get there I spent seven months, backpacking solo around South America and Cuba to reconnect with my self-confidence and build resilience. Then, I trained to start my coaching career path.
Today, my clients are graduates, first-time job seekers, professionals, entrepreneurs and company executives. I've helped define their journey and find their answers; in their own time and on their terms. I can do the same for you.
My clients now have a future that matters to them. A tomorrow that sparks a light in their life and gives them fulfilment.
I'm a great listener, a strategic thinker, I'm kind, realistic and practical. I don't judge. But I will challenge you [in the right way] about your goals.
Have that desire in you to leap into the unknown? Great, let's have a coffee and a chat.
Kia pai te rā, have a good day.
Lisé
